Richard S. Vacca, D.D.S.

Dr. Vacca has been recognized in Virginia Living magazine as one of Virginia's top dentists.

Dr. Vacca received his undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech and his Dental Degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. He also completed a one year hospital based General Practice Residency at Michael Reese Hospital & Medical Center in Chicago. He has maintained his private General Dental Practice at the Harbour Pointe Dental Building since 1990. Dr. Vacca is a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, Richmond Dental Society, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and serves as president of the Midlothian Dental Study Club. Dr. Vacca and his wife Diane live in Midlothian and have three sons: Joe (Cosby High School Class of 2008 / Va. Tech Class of 2012), Will (Cosby High School Class of 2010 / Va. Tech Class of 2014), and Dominic (Cosby High School Class of 2013). 

Sue Schwichtenberg, Dental Hygienist

Sue has been with our practice since February, 1997. She received her dental hygiene degree from William Rainey Harper College and has been practicing dental hygiene for 30 years. She is the mother of 2 and resides in the Midlothian area.

Chrissy Conner, Dental Hygienist

Chrissy has been with our practice since October 2001. She graduated from Varina High School and continued to MCV School of Dentistry where she received her dental hygiene degree. She is the mother of twins and lives in the Chesterfield area.

Sherrie Burton, Office Manager

Sherrie has been with our practice since December 2005. She has been in the dental field since 1993. Sherrie is married with 3 boys and resides in the Midlothian area.

Dawn Smith, Dental Assistant

Dawn has been with our practice since January 2007. Dawn relocated here from Michigan where she attended Central Michigan University for business management. Dawn has 14 years of dental experience. She is married with two boys and resides in the Midlothian area.

Marianne Caparrelli, Patient Coordinator

Marianne has been with our practice since November 2007. She has a background in Oral Surgery and for the last eight years has worked in Hospice care serving the Richmond community. Marianne is married with three children and resides in the Midlothian area.

Tammy Thomas, Dental Assistant

Tammy has been with our practice since January 2011.  She has 5 years of dental experience.  She is the mother of four and resides in Midlothian.
